DESIGN + MATERIALS + CARE

all chains and materials are, unless otherwise noted, made entirely of stainless steel. stainless steel is water-safe and tarnish and rust resistant. it is also extremely durable and considered hypoallergenic. pieces with colored rings contain anodized aluminum, which is lightweight and also hypoallergenic. please contact me if you are concerned about allergies. stainless steel should only be cleaned with dish soap and water. treated well, these pieces should last you a long time.

pendants, rings, and one-of-a-kind pieces are individually handmade using various soft metals and treated with a tarnish-resistant finish. for the sake of longevity, please handle pendants — and any pieces containing pearls, gems, and stained glass — with care. avoid exposure to water, extreme temperatures, and pressure. due to their handmade nature and design, these pieces may contain sharp points; please be aware of potential snagging or poking. to clean and restore luster, brush with dish soap and warm water and dry carefully. use a soft microfiber cloth to polish.

each piece is made individually, so there may be variations from one to the next.

SHIPPING + PAYMENT + REPAIRS

every piece is made by hand and usually made-to-order, so please allow up to four weeks for your order to be completed and shipped. one-of-a-kind pieces are often pre-made and may ship sooner than custom and made-to-order pieces.

packages are shipped to addresses exactly as i receive them, so please make sure you provide the correct address. swordhearted is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. i use first-class USPS shipping and provide tracking; if you would like to purchase priority shipping or added insurance, please contact me before placing your order. local pick-up in NYC is available (choose pick-up at checkout) upon request.

my prices are based on complexity, labor, time, and materials. i offer a trust-based sliding scale for most pieces; the prices listed on this site reflect the high end of that scale. if cost is a barrier for you, message me for sliding scale information. i also accept payment through venmo and zelle.

i aim to create flexible, unique, and durable pieces. unless there is a flaw in the design or materials, i am not able to accept returns. i offer forever repairs (customer must cover shipping both ways or drop-off in NYC), so reach out if you have any issues or if your pieces need to be adjusted.
